We owe so much to our mothers and grandmothers, which makes Mother’s Day the perfect day to show your appreciation. Many of us spend the day with our moms, having a cookout or other family get-together.

Mother’s Day Mingle
If your mother is a small business owner or entrepreneur, Mother’s Day Mingle is a perfect way to spend Mother’s Day.
This event is hosted by Nekte Bonde Health and there’s plenty to keep mom busy.
She’ll have the opportunity to mingle with other like-minded mothers, enjoying great music, food, delicious cocktails or mocktails, and they’re giving away great prizes.

Sip, Paint, and Sing‘s annual Mother’s Day event is a favorite. Mom will enjoy a nice lunch then sip wine while creating her own painting masterpiece.
This year’s event also includes Karaoke, so it should be a great time.

Illusions Drag Queen Brunch

52nd Annual Appalachian Festival
This is a Mother’s Day favorite of mine, exploring the Appalachian festival. There’s always great bluegrass music, unique arts and crafts vendors, and great food. Be sure to check out the Indian village area.
The Appalachian Market, Mountain Food, and Pickin’ Porches will be lining the walkways, as you take a stroll through various Appalachian traditions. The most popular area, the Mountain Village, will feature Native American dancing, tinsmiths, blacksmiths, soap-makers, spinners, and weavers.
New this year will be demonstrators that will be showing beadwork, Native American hand drumming, basket making, rope making, and a master distiller demonstrating mountain distilling.

Butterfly Show At The Krohn Conservatory
If you live in Cincinnati and you’ve never been to the Butterfly Show at Krohn Conservatory, you’re really missing out! This is a Cincinnati-must. No better time to visit than Mother’s Day!
Located in beautiful Eden Park in Mt. Adams, you can walk among thousands of butterflies! It’s like being in your very own fairy tale.
